The County of Riverside’s Department of Public Social Services (DPSS), Facilities Courier Center, seeks a single vacancy for a Customer Support Representative II who will be assigned to Riverside, CA.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing effective and efficient Courier services to 40+ DPSS district sites throughout Riverside county. The Customer Service Representative II is responsible for the daily delivery/pickup of interoffice and interdepartmental mail, US mail, warrant checks, EBT cards, bus passes, closed files, and other important valuables to all DPSS district sites. Additional responsibilities include sorting, processing, and metering large volumes of U.S postal mail. The incumbent will be required to operate a county vehicle for up to 75% of their working shift and travel throughout Riverside County, including but not limited to Blythe, Temecula, and Norco.

The Customer Support Representative II will be exposed to a Warehouse environment which means experiencing different temperatures depending on the climate, and being asked to lift up to 50lbs.

The most competitive candidate will possess and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, excellent critical thinking skills, and experience with mail-delivering services.
