Summary of Job Descriptions:

The Associate Accountant (Sales Audit) position is responsible for ensuring proper recording and reporting of sales transactions. This position reviews the data to ensure it is reasonable and complete and identifies any problems. This position performs the system maintenance on the accounting subsystem (PAWS) before data is posted to the GL.

You’ll get a chance to:

• Assist with the sales audit process, ensuring proper recording and reporting of sales transactions.
• Review data to ensure it is reasonable and complete and identify any problems.
• Perform system downloads to identify problems and follow up on data issues.
• Perform system maintenance on the accounting subsystem (PAWS) before data are posted to the General Ledger.
• Responsible for interfacing of subsystem and GL to ensure proper posting of data.
• Reconcile subsystem and GL data.
• Coordinate with the Treasury department to ensure accuracy of deposit data in PAWS subsystem.
Provide customer service to Operations, responding to sales inquiries and resolving any issues via Panda Self-service Portal.
• Track and reconcile various company expenses (Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Delivery as a Service).
• Prepare daily sales and weekly Flash reports in a timely matter to publish in the common document folder.
• Prepare store profile reports periodically and publish them to the store home pages.
• Participate in special projects, proactively seek to improve department processes.

Your background & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with coursework in Accounting required
• Minimum one year of related experience required, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
• If hired, successful completion of annual store training.
• If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.

Pay Range P1: $25.00 - $35.00 / Hour

• Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
