About us
We are a family of four, two parents and two boys (ages 15 and 13). The job would entail coming to our home in the afternoon to prepare dinner and do some cleaning after the dinner is made. We like all kinds of food and generally like to eat healthy, avoiding too many high fat foods. The boys are athletes and need high protein and high carb diets. The parents like to each much lighter, often times having a salad with a little bit of the food that the boys are eating. Roughly 3-4 hours per day is preferred, 3-4 times per week or so. The days and times are flexible.
```Duties```
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
```Experience```
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Skills:
- Kitchen: Experience in cleaning kitchen areas, including appliances, countertops, and floors.
- Supervising: Ability to oversee and direct the work of other housekeeping staff.
- Restaurant management: Familiarity with maintaining cleanliness standards in a restaurant setting.
- Team management: Ability to coordinate tasks and schedules for a team of housekeepers.
- Help: Willingness to assist guests with any additional requests or needs.
- Food management: Understanding of proper food storage and handling procedures.
- Menu planning: Knowledge of creating menus for special events or dietary restrictions.
- Food handling: Ability to safely handle food items while adhering to hygiene standards.
- Hospitality: Friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Shift management: Capability to manage work schedules and ensure coverage for all shifts.
