We are hiring a part time remote Operations Assistant for 20 hours per week of remote work. You will be managing our day-to-day operations for our physical locations and virtual events, interacting with both customers and our restaurant partners and vendors via email, and working with a team of passionate quirky foodies around the world. You are the engine that drives the train, the puppetmaster behind the scenes making the magic, the keeper of the keys!

You love having strong processes so that nothing falls through the cracks. Accuracy and efficiency are among your favorite virtues - spreadsheets are your jam! You love learning new tools and spinning up fast, and you’re probably already an Airtable nerd. You’re organized, detail oriented, and have strong feelings about the Oxford comma. You have excellent written communication skills, and can infuse our quirky brand voice into your compassionate communications. The Giphy extension for Gmail is just one of your favorite quirky tools. Repetitive tasks don’t bore you - you’re constantly looking for ways to change the game or modify the system.

Your working hours will be 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday and need to overlap PT and ET office hours. Because we run events daytimes, nights and weekends, from Eastern to Pacific time zones, the ideal candidate values schedule flexibility and is adaptable to be available for incoming messages during key event times, while enjoying the flexibility of working hours throughout other parts of the day. This role is computer-based and requires access to a smartphone and computer, and fluency with multiple applications including Airtable, Slack, Asana, Hubspot, Gmail and Google Suite, and other apps.

Successful candidates will have 2+ years of business administration and/or operations experience, with strong references. The application process begins with this form application, followed by interviews via video chat, and culminating in trial job tasks and final interviews.
