Security Systems Coordinator

The Opportunity:

As part of our Global Security team, the Global Security Systems Coordinator supports the Global Security Systems Manager with administration and maintenance of all global electronic security systems including:

  • The Card Access systems (CCURE or any other systems)
  • The Intrusion systems and its associated monitoring equipment, Master Mind Data Base Software and Radionics Alarm Receiver
  • The CCTV Systems (Victor Video Edge, Intellex, TVR, Exaq Vision, Ganz, and any additional platforms).

What Your Impact Will Be:

The Security Systems Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Data base accuracy, programing, and routine system maintenance
  • Coordinating vendor service/maintenance jobs on all systems and verify accuracy of all service logs
  • Follow up on all issues encountered during these health checks and will be responsible for setting up service tickets for vendors to fix these issues
  • Supporting the Team with technical problems and matters associated with global access control involving employee and vendor badging
  • Day-to-day access control and CCTV system management which includes creating users in system, running routine reports for various departments, creating badge templates, assisting with I-Star panel programing, and coordinating new card reader additions.
  • Assisting with programing of new DVRs, new Camera additions and the trouble shooting associated with both systems when issues or problems arise.
  • Communicating all system issues/outages that may have been reported to you directly to your manager
  • Maintain CCURE system files for all Mattel sites
  • Assisting with programing electronic security systems- AC, CCTV, Intrusion
  • Assisting with electronic security design
  • Supporting Security partners with monthly burglar system test at all sites
  • Attending manufacturer training classes and train security staff on system usage
  • Creating user manuals, job aids, and training calendars
  • Completing all other projects as assigned by the Manager and Director


What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge – (Word and Excel)
  • Working knowledge of security systems (cctv, access control, burg system, fire life safety)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Solid basic math skills.
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills. (writing sample will be administered).
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, etc…
  • Some travel required (5% to 10%)
  • CPR certification preferred

The base hourly rate for this position is between $19.25 and $25.95
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
